We are thrilled to open the new year with the announcement of the special achievements we closed our 2019 with.

WeBizz was rewarded in London with the  Talented Young Italians Award in the category Industry and Commerce last November. The Talented Young Italians Award is an important award assigned by the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for UK to Italian professionals and entrepreneurs in the UK with outstanding profiles and activities.

The prize was a special recognition to the involvement of WeBizz in projects with high societal and cultural impact.

One of these projects is Woopera, a WeBizz proprietary format fo promote opera lirica, a strong part of our cultural heritage,  in the world. The goal of the project is to explain opera to a not-expert audience in order to help them enjoy opera before, during and after the live performance.

The platform, initially developed in the form of different Android apps for the different operas,  is now under reconstruction in Lavarel – a more secure and advanced framework. The final version will include interactive features and will be open to theatres.

Another important project WeBizz was involved in as Partner and Communication Responsible was Phi-Unet.

Phi-unet is a project powered by the European Space Agency and aimed to boost the usage of Artificial Intelligence in Earth Observation data and create applications for humanitarian goals.

Phi-Unet organized a prestigious challenge for UNOSAT, in partnership with UNOSAT, ESA, RUS Copernicus and with the technical support of CERN openlab. Goal of the challenge was to build an AI model to detect building footprints in Iraq. This information would help reconstruction activities in the country.
